Chad Maddox Seeks Public Support to Establish a Veteran-Owned Garage Focused on Integrity and Local Service
Chad Maddox, a United States Air Force veteran with a 90 percent disability rating, has launched a fundraising campaign to build a veteran-owned auto repair shop dedicated to trust, community, and purpose. After years of honorable military service and the challenges of returning to civilian life, Maddox is turning his lifelong passion for automotive repair into a new mission.
Working on cars has always been more than a skill for me. It provides focus, peace, and a renewed sense of purpose, says Maddox. This shop will represent healing and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully again.
The fundraiser aims to raise funds for essential infrastructure and equipment, including the construction of a garage, a concrete foundation, an automotive lift, and professional mechanic tools. Despite Maddox’s qualifications and determination, traditional lenders have denied him access to startup capital due to his veteran disability status.
The goal is to establish a small-scale repair business rooted in integrity, where every vehicle is serviced with care and transparency. Beyond providing reliable automotive solutions, the business will also serve as a symbol of what disabled veterans can accomplish when given a fair opportunity.
